The director of the Agricultural Bank branch in Izraa in the countryside of Daraa, Riad Al-Talib, confirmed the readiness of the branch to finance agricultural operations with regard to fertilizer.
And the branch manager stated in a statement to the SANA reporter today that the branch currently has a balance of ammonium nitrate fertilizer amounting to 1155 tons, 105 tons of urea and 175 tons of superphosphate fertilizer, explaining that the fertilizer needs of farmers are drawn successively through the central administration and that the delivery is according to the organization document Agricultural assets issued by the extension units and agricultural interests.
The student pointed out that the priority in distributing superphosphate fertilizer in this season will be for those contracting with the seed multiplication branch for the cultivation of the wheat crop, and the surplus quantities are distributed to the rest of the farmers and agricultural associations, stressing that the prices of fertilizers within the branches of the Agricultural Bank are encouraging and the price of one ton of ammonium nitrate reaches 160.2 thousand pounds And urea to 193 thousand pounds and superphosphate to 237.2 thousand Syrian pounds.
