It wasn't his first offense.

Geretsried / Wolfratshausen -

It was only in May of this year that a Geretsried (20) was sentenced to a youth sentence of one year on probation and two weeks of permanent arrest for dealing with narcotics.

Hardly back from arrest, the student sat again in front of the juvenile jury.

This time he faced four cases of resistance to law enforcement officers.

The incident occurred on April 9 of this year at around 2:20 a.m.

The defendant was out with friends when the group was checked by police at the Juice Shop Youth Center.

The young man ran away and pushed a police chief against a garden fence.

The three of them tried to handcuff him.

The 20-year-old fought against this as best he could.

“Such a freak doesn’t fit into his repertoire”, wondered youth court assistant Andreas Dlugosch.

The previous offenses of the accused were minor theft and various drug offenses.

"I panicked, I acted rashly," said the defendant, who had around 1.2 per thousand alcohol in his blood at the time of the crime.

In addition: "It was Corona time, you weren't allowed to meet", the young boy explained why he had rushed to flee that night.

During the trial, the defendant made a “very good impression”, as judge Friederike Kirschstein-Freund did not conceal.

"The arrest was no fun," the defendant provided the reason for his change of heart.

"That showed me that this is no future if it continues like this."

The court of lay judges sentenced the student, taking into account the previous judgment, to a total youth sentence of one year and three months on probation - garnished with the "clear indication that a suspended sentence is no longer to be expected if something happens again," as youth court assistant Dlugosch said said.

Turning to the young accused, he emphasized: “You write that behind your ears.” Rst
