At a meeting attended by Corona Superintendent Prof. Roni Gamzo and his staff, Medical Adviser Rabbi Yossi Arabich asked about the opening of synagogues.

Gamzo explained that he sees no reason to stop a quorum of worshipers indoors, as long as they keep a distance mask and open windows as is also allowed in the house.

Health Minister Edelstein supports the possibility of prayer, but he asks the ultra-Orthodox to publicly declare that they support this outline so that there will be no violations.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health tonight published the latest morbidity data.

In the last day, 398 new carriers were diagnosed out of 20,533 tests, with a positive rate of only 1.9%.

The death toll so far stands at 2,484 people.

The number of people hospitalized is 825 people, of whom 471 are in critical condition and 199 are out of breath.

762 medical staff members are in isolation, of whom 231 are nurses and 106 are men and women doctors.
