The Knesset will be asked to approve today (Tuesday) the normalization agreement between Israel and Bahrain.
The debate will be opened by Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin, after which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will deliver his speech. At the end, the opposition leader, MK Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid), will receive the floor.

At the end of the two speeches, there will be a personal discussion in which more than 70 MKs will take part, each of whom will be allocated four minutes. Ministers and deputy ministers will also be able to participate in the discussion, at the end of which a vote will be approved. And will be broadcast live on the "Israel Today" website.
The wording of the joint statement stated, inter alia, that "the Parties shall recognize and respect sovereignty and the right to live in peace and security, promote sustainable security and denounce the threat of force and its use, develop friendly relations of cooperation between themselves and their peoples and settle all disputes peacefully and by agreement." .
It was further stipulated that "the parties will endeavor to take all necessary steps to apply in their mutual relations the provisions of the multilateral art to which both parties are parties."
