The Counter-Terrorism Headquarters issued a travel warning this evening (Thursday) to many Asian destinations near Iran, for fear of retaliation by the regime in Tehran following the assassination of Muhsin Fahrizadeh.
The headquarters justified the warning "in light of recent threats from Iranian elements and in light of past involvement of Iranian elements in terrorist attacks."
The announcement applies to countries such as Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, the Kurdish region of Iraq, as well as the Middle East and the African continent.
According to the headquarters, there is a fear in these countries that Iran will try to act in this way against Israeli targets.
