The Argentine rugby team, Los Pumas, will meet his rivals on Monday in the group stage of the next World Cup in France 2023, which will be drawn in Paris by World Rugby.

The ceremony takes place at the Brongniart Palace in the French capital, from 8:30 in Argentina, with a presentation by the British journalist Louise Ekland and transmission via streaming through the channels of the highest governing body of that sport.

The 20 selected participants - there are currently twelve classified by their results in the 2019 World Cup - will be distributed in four zones of five.

The seeds will be South Africa, the last champion, New Zealand, England and Wales, who will be located in Pot 1.

Ciborium 2 will be made up of Australia, Ireland, France and Japan;

while Argentina will integrate the 3 along with Scotland, Fiji and Italy.

The distribution of each selected in the drums was made based on the location in the world ranking as of January 1, which hurt Los Pumas because, at that time, they were not located in the top 8 (currently they occupy it) .

So Argentina could have two powers in its area and complicate its access to the final phase as happened in Japan 2019 when it was eliminated after inhabiting the same group as England and France.

In the last two cups, the eight places that remain to be defined will be drawn.

On the 4th they will be 1st in Oceania, 1st in Europe, 1st in America and 1st in Asia / Pacific;

and in the 5th, 1st in Africa, 2nd in Europe, 2nd in America and 1st in the repechage.

The match schedule, with date, location and time, will be announced at the end of February 2021.

The 2023 World Cup in France will be played from September 8 to October 21 in nine cities: Paris (Stade de France), Marseille (Velodrome Stadium), Bordeaux (Matmut Atlatique), Saint-Etiénne (Geoffroy-Guichard), Nantes (Stade de la Beaujoire), Lille (Pierre-Mauroy), Toulouse (Stade de Toulouse), Lyon (Parc Olympique) and Nice (Allianz Riviera).

New Zealand and South Africa, with three titles each, are the most winning countries in nine editions of the World Cup.

The All Blacks celebrated the title in 1987, 2011 and 2015;

while the Springboks did in 1995, 2007 and 2019.

Australia has two crowns (1991 and 1999) and England with one (2003).

Los Pumas' best results was third place at the 2007 World Cup, held in France, Wales and Scotland.
