The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the United States' classification of Israeli settlements exports in the occupied Palestinian territories is a "Israeli" war crime, for which those responsible must be held accountable in accordance with international laws and conventions.
The State Department clarified in a statement today reported by Wafa that this is an official US approval to annex settlement lands to "Israel" in clear violation of the rules of international law, which encourages the occupation to persist in its violations and crimes against the Palestinians and undermine their legitimate rights.
The Foreign Ministry affirmed that the land of the State of Palestine will remain a single geographical unit in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, and that sovereignty over these areas and their resources is the exclusive sovereignty of the Palestinian people, who will drop all attempts aimed at fragmenting them.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that this crime requires immediate action at the international level, and it must be rejected and confronted with all available legal means and means, noting that it will work with all parties, institutions and international courts to hold accountable anyone who violates the rights of Palestinians.
