Woman, 38, who appears to have lost her mind, arrested after stabbing 10-year-old boy to death and seriously injuring her

Horror in the middle of Christmas night in Limay (Yvelines): a 10-year-old boy was stabbed to death and his 4-year-old sister was seriously injured by a 38-year-old woman, around 3:20 am rue Georges-Danton.

To the police officers who arrested her, the latter recounted being "possessed by the devil for a week".

Called for help, the firefighters discovered the boy and his sister stabbed several times.

Despite the efforts of the medical team, the elder could not be resuscitated.

His sister was transported in absolute urgency to the Robert-Debré hospital in Paris (19th century), suffering from multiple injuries to the arms and legs.

The suspect quickly found

According to the first elements of the investigation, children were playing in the garden located at the back of the building, when a woman armed with a knife threw herself on them before stabbing them.

Officials quickly identified the latter before finding her in an apartment, suffering from a laceration on her forearms.

"She immediately confessed to being the author of the attack, explaining that she was possessed by the devil," said a source close to the case.

The suspect was taken into custody and taken to Poissy hospital for treatment.

The murder weapon, a knife with a six-inch blade, was found in a thicket not far from where the children were attacked.

The Yvelines departmental security investigators are responsible for carrying out the rest of the investigations.
