A private car in Kowloon Bay cut the double white line and was intercepted by police officers. The driver failed to escape and it was even revealed that the car contained drugs.

At about 11:30 pm yesterday (27th), a white private car was travelling along Kwun Tong Road towards Kwun Tong. When approaching near Telford Gardens, it suddenly cut a double white line and turned left into Fuk Tao Street. There was traffic police. The officer chased after it and intercepted the private car at the roundabout on Fuk Tao Street.

A 28-year-old male driver in the car once abandoned the car and ran for more than ten meters. He was then subdued by the police officers chased by the tail Sui. The driver did not resist.

After the police searched the vehicle, a small amount of suspected drugs were seized in the jewelry box in the driver's seat, including nitromethazepam, cocaine, and ketamine, commonly known as "Wu Zai", and the driver was immediately arrested.

The police later sent a drug detection dog to the scene, but no further discovery was made.
