Beirut - SANA

The Secretary-General of Hizbullah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that the steadfastness of Syria, the people and the army, and its leadership was the most failure of the terrorist war that it was waged on about ten years ago.

Nasrallah indicated during an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV tonight that Syria has been subjected to a brutal war because of its national stances, especially on the Palestinian issue and because of its strategic position, pointing out that the steadfastness of the Syrian people and their rallying around their army and leadership is the basis for thwarting the war that was launched against their country in addition to the role of Syria's allies .

Nasrallah explained that the capabilities of the resistance axis today are greater than they were years ago, and he said: Our axis was able to force its presence in the whole region and to achieve victories, and today it is stronger than ever before.

Sayyed Nasrallah reaffirmed the readiness of the Lebanese national resistance and its ability to strike any target of the Israeli enemy throughout the occupied Palestine, due to its possession of accurate missiles and capable weapons, stressing that the resistance would respond to aggression that the Israeli enemy might commit.

With regard to the formation of the Lebanese government, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah considered that the problem lies in the lack of trust between the political parties, stressing the need to expedite its formation, and that dealing with the current situation in Lebanon requires the presence of a government.
