Today, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its demand for the UN Security Council to assume its political, legal and moral responsibilities and implement international legitimacy decisions to stop the Israeli occupation crimes against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement carried by Wafa Agency, the Foreign Ministry condemned the continuing excavations of the occupation in Al-Buraq Square, the western wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque and near the Mughrabi Gate, indicating that it is an extension of the Israeli plans aimed at judaizing Al-Aqsa and its surroundings.
She indicated that the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, is subjected to continuous daily targeting that aims to displace Jerusalemites, whether through house demolitions or the seizure of lands and bulldozing them, as happened yesterday in the Wadi Rababa neighborhood, in flagrant violation of the relevant UN resolutions, foremost of which are those of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. (UNESCO).
