They had been arrested on their return from the demonstration, at Fleury-les-Aubrais station, near Orleans, in possession of objects from looted shops that they had picked up without participating in the ransacking of these shops: Hugo Boss clothes. and Celio (T-shirt, pants, belt, pajama bottoms, socks ...) and a Swarovski necklace, the same source said.
Originally from Montluçon, the five people, aged 29 to 60, will also have to pay companies Hugo Boss and Svarowski a total of 1,200 euros for material and moral damage, said the lawyer.
“
We are a little disappointed because we asked for a dispensation from the sentence because there was no real disturbance to public order.
These people, who are in a difficult economic situation and who have never had to deal with justice, were carried away in a crowd movement that they did not provoke
”, commented the lawyer of the defendants, Maître Xavier. Courteille, to an AFP correspondent.
The criminal court “
actually heard our arguments, but perhaps did not dare to follow through with the reasoning it was asked to follow.
We have ten days to think, with a clear head, whether or not we appeal,
”he added.
The requisitions were two months suspended or 105 hours of TIG.
