At least two FBI agents have died and three others have been injured in a shooting that took place early Tuesday during an operation against a child pornography suspect in Sunrise, a Florida city in the urban conglomerate of Miami.
The Sunrise Police Department has indicated that officers were executing a federal warrant for their arrest with other officers at the apartment complex around 6 a.m. when the shooting occurred.
A suspect barricaded himself in the house for hours, in an event that appears to be over, according to police.
Two of the injured officers have been hospitalized and are stable, as reported by NBC.
The alleged killer has died.
