The five defendants who said they would plead guilty are allowed to be released on bail under the original conditions. However, Huang Zhifeng is currently serving his sentence in another case and must continue to accept guests. The prosecution revealed that in the case, except for the five defendants who will plead guilty, the others are waiting for another case in the District Court on February 16. The case involves 9 people including Li Zhiying, Martin Lee, He Junren, and Liang Guoxiong. they

There are 26 defendants involved in this case, including: Li Zhuoren, He Junren, Zou Xingtong, Cai Yaochang, Zhang Wenguang, Mai Haihua, Yin Zhaojian, Zhao Enlai, Liang Yaozhong, Liang Jinwei, Li Zhiying, Guo Yongjian, Chen Haohuan, He Xiulan, Hu Zhiwei, Liang Guohua, Huang Zhifeng, Luo Guancong, Yuan Jiawei, Liang Kaiqing, Cen Aohui, He Guilan, Zhang Kunyang, Liang Guoxiong, Zhu Kaidi and Yang Sen, but two of the defendants Luo Guancong and Zhang Kunyang had been absent from the last trial of this case earlier.

Except for Li Zhiying, the other 25 people were charged with one case of knowingly participating in an unauthorized assembly in Victoria Park; in addition, Li Zhuoren, He Junren, Zou Xingtong, Cai Yaochang, Zhang Wenguang, Mai Haihua, Yin Zhaojian, Zhao Enlai, Liang Yaozhong, Liang Jinwei, and Li Zhiying, Guo Yongjian and Chen Haohuan were accused of illegally inciting others to participate in an unauthorized assembly; Li Zhuoren was again charged with the crime of holding an unauthorized assembly.
