Vendée Globe sailors are enjoying a well-deserved vacation, after their three-month trip around the world.
And some of them have taken to the heights to recover and readjust to life on earth.
Thus Jérémie Beyou (Charal), 13th around the world, set off for the mountains near Chamonix and Mont Blanc.
Thomas Rouillard (LinkedOut), 6th, chose the resort of Villard de Lans (Isère) where, for lack of open ski lifts, he went on a sealskin hike on Wednesday with a certain Martin Fourcade, a local resident.
“Today is hiking.
It's not easy to keep up, ”commented the sailor in a video where he suggests to the former biathlete to“ slow down ”while it is he who has trouble keeping up ... The two men then go on a descent to make city dwellers dream of teleworking.
Recovery session with @martinfkde!
Thanks Martin!
