They had kidnapped the dog of a septuagenarian to demand a ransom.
At the time of the exchange, they found themselves with the police officers who had invited themselves.
Two unaccompanied minors aged 17 and 15 were arrested and placed in police custody.
At the end of this, the two teenagers were presented to a juvenile judge in the context of proceedings for aggravated extortion and were released.
These two teenagers had succeeded in stealing the small dog which was in the garden of his mistress, in Osny, in the city center.
It was February 15th.
The meeting had been made with the kidnappers.
The victim was to go the next day, at 4 p.m., to Pontoise station to exchange his dog for the € 400 claimed by the young kidnappers.
But the septuagenarian did not really intend to give in and called the municipal police of Pontoise.
