The Ministry of Culture launched a music incubator project aimed at Syrian musicians of all classes to form small groups and support idle groups.
This project comes within the scope of the initiatives launched by the Ministry of a long-term strategic nature in line with its objectives to encourage the arts, revitalize its activity, secure its future, and discover artistic talents.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Culture, SANA agency received a copy of it today, the project seeks to support music groups to transform into permanent bands that support the Syrian art movement.
The statement pointed out that the preparation of the music incubator project began a few months ago to create a suitable environment for its work, as a special organizing committee was formed for it that included a selection of musicians with experience and expertise.
This incubator aims to secure the technical environment and appropriate logistical support to form musical groups based on a specific project, as the incubation period is one year at the most, during which the incubated band is allocated a place for training and musical and administrative supervision and is provided with promotion to launch later on its own work after it has formed its own artistic identity.
