Nuremberg - In the second largest city in Bavaria, the fear of the 7-day incidence continues.
After Nuremberg * exceeded the critical mark of 100 on Monday, February 22nd, stricter corona rules came into force.

Nuremberg: There is a curfew in the Franconian metropolis
As the Bavarian Ministry of Health explains, there is a curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for those districts and cities whose 7-day incidence * is over 100 - so also for Nuremberg since last Monday.
Each time the mark is exceeded, the curfew does not apply until the incidence is below 100 for at least seven days.
The last time above this was Nuremberg on Wednesday, February 24th.
As a result, today, Monday, March 1st, is the fifth day in a row on which the value is below 100.
But there is still no reason to breathe a sigh of relief for the residents: According to the Robert Koch Institute * (RKI), the incidence recently rose again to 98.2.
If the value remains below 100 up to and including Wednesday, February 3rd, the nightly curfew could be canceled on the following day - if it increases before the 7-day period has expired, nothing will come of it.
Nuremberg: Schools mainly in distance teaching - daycare centers closed
However, further openings are also attached to the target mark 100.
After the value was exceeded, daycare centers were only allowed to offer emergency care since Tuesday, February 23.
Since Monday, March 1st, thanks to an opening clause, everyone has again been allowed to visit the daycare centers.
All elementary and special school pupils as well as the final classes of all secondary and vocational schools have been allowed to return to face-to-face teaching since this deadline - but in the form of alternate teaching, depending on the location.
Between Tuesday, February 23 and Friday, February 26, face-to-face classes for elementary and special school students as well as for the final classes of secondary and middle schools were prohibited.

Britta Walthelm, health officer for the city of Nuremberg, told the

that the development of the numbers for Nuremberg was "not foreseeable".

"The infection situation in Nuremberg is still very diffuse," said Wathelm.
She also justified this with the rapid increase in the significantly more contagious virus mutations *, which now make up 22 percent of new corona cases.
