According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the US president's remarks were "very bad. He (Biden) unequivocally does not want to regulate relations with our country, and we will assume so."

However, the Russian president's spokesman did not say whether Putin himself would respond to the remarks of his American counterpart.

Peskov added that the statements about Russia and Putin were "a new word in the reciprocal relations between the two countries, which has not happened in history."

At the same time, in response to the question of whether further response measures are expected from Moscow, Pskov said that this is not expected.

He noted that American statements of this kind would affect the dynamics of relations between the two countries, but he did not delve into this issue.

A Kremlin spokesman reiterated that US-Russia relations "are very bad". Asked how to straighten relations, he said: "This question should not be referred to Moscow."

Peskov's remarks come after Moscow announced last night that it was returning its ambassador from Washington "for consultations" in which relations with the United States would be analyzed, following President Biden's unprecedented attack on Russian President Putin. For us, it is to examine ways to repair relations between Russia and the United States that are in a difficult situation.

The State Department added that "Washington has brought relations to a dead end in recent years and we are interested in preventing an irreversible situation, especially if the Americans do not recognize the danger in that situation."

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos on the ABC network, Biden said, among other things, that the Russian president "will pay a price for interfering in the US election. He and I have a long conversation and I know him well." "He must be ready for an agreement to reduce weapons of mass destruction."

When asked if he would define Putin as a murderer, Biden replied in the affirmative.

"I do think so. You'll see Putin going to pay for his intervention," Biden told the interviewer.

Biden stressed that his country could take a strong hand against the Putin administration and at the same time sign various agreements with the Kremlin, "it's like going and chewing gum at the same time," the president said.

Biden also referred in the interview to the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan and said it would be difficult to get all U.S. military forces out of the country by early May.

A comprehensive report by various intelligence agencies in the United States was released on Tuesday in which it was alleged that the Russian president knew and apparently even led the operation in the US election, while using politicians and lawyers who liaised with the Russian intelligence services. In favor of President Trump, on the assumption that the continuation of his rule will better serve the interests of Moscow.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a statement that the US report was "baseless and baseless." Peskov stressed that Russia had nothing to do with the US election campaign or any of the candidates.

"These very low-quality materials are being used as a pretext for new sanctions," he said.

Meanwhile, the US is expanding sanctions against Russia on export matters, due to the imprisonment of Alexei Navalny. Washington said the reason for these measures was due to "use of chemical and biological weapons" by the Russians. Novichuk, who was planted in his clothes by Russian Federal Security Service agents. The sanctions will focus on defense exports, civil aviation and space affairs and will last until September 1. At the same time, Russia has been blacklisted for exporting or importing weapons And security equipment. The sanctions will take effect tomorrow.
