Starnberg - Thanks to this attentive witness: When he overheard three young people smashing two of the huge windows in the underpass of the See Bahnhof at around 10:15 p.m., he immediately informed the police.
Shortly afterwards, a patrol from the Munich Federal Police Directorate found three young people who matched the description of the witness, an 18-year-old woman and two men aged 17 and 18, not far from the train station.
All come from Munich, as the federal police announced on request.
The officers recorded the group's personal details while they were still on site.
Then the young people were allowed to go home again.
However, they are listed as "suspects" by the federal police, as a spokeswoman told Starnberg Mercury.
Further interrogations are likely to follow.
More details about the case were therefore not known yesterday - neither about the motivation nor about possible alcoholization.
In addition, the police are evaluating the video recordings from the cameras located in the platform underpass.
Traces at the crime scene were also secured.
Just a week ago there was a similar case at the Geisenbrunn S-Bahn stop.
As reported, previously unknown perpetrators had smashed several panes of showcases and a bus shelter on the platforms.
The damage in the case was 6,000 euros.
So far there is no trace of the perpetrators.
At that time, witnesses claim to have seen a group of 20 young people on the platform.
It is not known how high the damage is in Starnberg.
