The moment of truth has arrived:
the Central Election Commission has begun counting the votes in the elections to the 24th Knesset, with the right-wing bloc according to the polls close to forming a government, with 60 seats.
The turnout in this year's election was particularly low, with only 67.2%, the lowest in the last four election campaigns.
The challenge of counting the votes is expected to be more difficult than usual, with a particularly high amount of double envelopes that is expected to stand at about 600,000 with the votes of soldiers, police, prisoners and wardens, diplomatic representatives abroad and Corona patients and isolators. With only three days before the beginning of Shabbat and Passover.
