"Today is a wonderful day with dreamy weather - a strong wind helps to disperse remnants of after the election in all corners of the city," wrote a resident in a Facebook post Beer Sheva, after discovering this morning (Wednesday) the amount of garbage accumulated near the "Conch" stadium in the city.

"Open spaces, a promenade between the Ramot neighborhood and the Nahal Eshan neighborhood," she added in the post, "I wholeheartedly invite you to enjoy a trip with me around Be'er Sheva. Make sure to bring closed shoes and glasses, you know, pieces of paper in the air and cardboard on the floor can spoil the impression ".

"I do not understand how this situation can be, how it is possible to treat our country and land in this way," Julia Jasfekina told Israel Today.

A huge amount of garbage, cartons, plastic bags, plastic spikes designed to count the votes, ballots and envelopes were simply left near the stadium, with the strong winds in the morning the garbage had already begun to disperse throughout the open area adjacent to the compound where the votes were counted on Tuesday evening.

From an examination by "Israel Today" in front of all the parties involved, in order to find out who made the strange decision to leave the garbage outside the stadium despite the weather.

The secretariat of the Beer Sheva City Election Commission chose not to comment on the case and declined to comment.

At the same time, a spokeswoman for the Central Election Commission did respond, but chose to present the garbage as perishable despite a significant amount of plastic in the piles: "This is perishable equipment left after the voting materials have been taken out and tested. Much of it is for garbage and some should be sent to the committee .

"The evacuation trucks were supposed to arrive at the scene shortly. The material was supposed to be covered, until it was evacuated but the order was not carried out."

The Be'er Sheva municipality stated: "The Department of the Environment is examining and dealing with the issue. At the same time, it will take care of disposing of the above waste in the coming hour."
