Lufthansa machine has to make an alternative landing - engine fails
The reversal of a flight as a result of the shutdown of an engine is a standard procedure, as the press spokesman for Lufthansa, Michael Lamberty, announced on request.
It was not an emergency landing, but an alternative landing to ensure the safety of the passengers.
An engine failure would be very rare, Lamberty also said.
