A four-year-old girl, a resident of the village of Mukibala, was seriously injured today (Sunday) by a motorcycle in the Jezreel Valley - which was apparently ridden by an eight-year-old boy from the village.

The MDA team provided her with medical treatment on the spot and evacuated her to Haemek Hospital in Afula. The girl was placed and resuscitated in the emergency department and is now being transferred for surgery

. The motorcycle on which he was riding has disappeared from the scene, and scans are being carried out to find it.

"We connected with a private vehicle in which the girl was lying with a head injury," said MDA paramedic Mika Oz.

"We were told she was hit by a vehicle. We quickly put her in an intensive care unit and evacuated her in critical condition to the hospital while continuing medical treatment."
