The ministers in charge approved the recommendation of the public committee, and elected Rabbi Eitan Shenrav to deliver a beacon at the main ceremony of the 73rd Independence Day of the State of Israel on Mount Herzl.

Shenrav, 48, is one of the founders of the Chesed in Lod charity organization, founded by members of the Torah nucleus in the city of Lod, assists people in need, distributes food to the needy, and operates the "Second Round" clothing store chain.

She also holds Torah classes, and is involved in building hiking trails and conducting day trips around the country as well as rehabilitating springs.

Recently, the name of the association was changed to "Kol Rene", in memory of the daughter of the late Rabbi Shenrav - Rene Shenrev, who was killed in a terrorist attack in the "Ein Dani" spring, near the town of Dolev.

Following the decision of the ministers in charge, it was decided that on the 73rd Independence Day, the State of Israel would miraculously elevate the "Israeli fraternity", and salute the citizens working to cultivate social resilience in Israel and deepen the common and unifying.

Following the decision, the ministers in charge, Minister of Transport Miri Regev and Minister of Culture and Sports Hili Trooper, said that "we are pleased to inform Rabbi Eitan Shenrav of our choice to hold a beacon on the 73rd Independence Day of the State of Israel."

According to them, "Rabbi Shenrav, who lost his daughter, the late Rene, in the attack, acts according to the belief that 'a world of kindness will be built' is a way of life.

Rabbi Shenrav, strong in spirit and love for others, strengthened the association's activities after the murder of his 14th daughter out of a desire to give a warm shoulder to family values and cohesion in the nation and country. Rabbi Eitan, we salute you volunteers And in Israel and for the strengthening of the springs of the wind in our people, it is performed with the voice of Rina and with the joy of creation. "
