UNICEF: Coronavirus deprives 800 million children of education

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) announced that the Coronavirus pandemic has deprived nearly 800 million children around the world of education.

"About 800 million children are still deprived of going to school and education due to Corona, and many of them face the risk of not returning to school permanently," said the head of education in the organization Robert Jenkins said in a statement today.

Jenkins pointed out that schools are still closed or offer a mixture of distance learning and personal learning in 90 countries around the world, pointing out that the closures have disrupted children's education in an unexpected way.
