When the alerted fire brigade arrived, the garage was already in full fire.
Despite the extinguishing work that was initiated quickly, the garage and the two cars fell victim to the flames.
For the criminal police, the criminal long-term service (KDD) took over the first investigations on site in the evening, which are now being continued by the responsible criminal police station in Miesbach.
Statements on the cause of the fire cannot yet be made.
For this purpose, the investigators from the Kripo will examine the scene of the fire together with an expert.
Before that, however, a structural engineer must declare the garage building, which is presumed to be in danger of collapsing, to be accessible.
