According to eyewitnesses earlier on to "Hong Kong 01", on the evening of the 1st of this month, a man entered the restaurant with a Salia takeout and asked the people present to check and said: "If you have an appetite, you Let’s continue eating!” It was discovered that there was a foreign body in the spaghetti in the lunch box, which was even more likely to be a mouse head.
The FEHD said earlier that it had received related complaints and sent staff to the restaurant involved to investigate and take food samples for inspection. It also stated that the premises were satisfactory and no rat traces were found.
The department responded to enquiries today, stating that the food sample has been sent to the Pest Control Advisory Group for inspection. The test results showed that the foreign body found in the food sample belonged to part of the head of the murine family.
The Department will continue to follow up the relevant case. If there is sufficient evidence to prove that the restaurant violated the relevant health regulations, it will consider prosecuting the relevant person.
