Life imprisonment was requested this Thursday in Paris against the three accused, Ivorians and Belarusians, tried in absence for having perpetrated in 2004 the bombardment which killed nine French soldiers in Bouaké (Ivory Coast).

Untraceable for years, Yury Sushkin, a Belarusian mercenary, and Patrice Ouei and Ange Gnanduillet, two officers of the Ivorian air force, are being prosecuted before the Paris Assize Court for assassination.
The verdict is expected in the afternoon.
