Member of Parliament for Yvelines, Yaël Braun-Pivet (LREM) is president of the Laws Commission of the National Assembly.
LE FIGARO.-
The Republic on the move launched a consultation around the health pass
.
How did you anticipate this debate?
Yaël BRAUN-PIVET-
I organized a round table in the Law Committee last month with Professor Karine Lefeuvre (member of the Ethics Advisory Board), Professor of Public Law Serge Slama and State Councilor Bernard Stirn.
This is a very important subject for organizing the way out of the crisis.
It is necessary to frame things well.
Having discussed this in my riding, I can see that there is a strong expectation from society to reopen.
Many say to themselves "if we have to go through a health pass, then let's go".
But you have to place the cursor.
Do not sacrifice our principles, our rights and our freedoms in the name of a joy to end the crisis.
