A young man in his 20s was arrested last night (Wednesday) on suspicion of being involved in 15 cases of assaulting ultra-Orthodox in ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods in Ashdod during the past week.
The suspect was arrested after the police last night received a similar report of an ultra-Orthodox attack in the city.
Nearby police forces identified a man similar to the complainant's description, located the suspect and arrested him.
A first interrogation of the suspect, reveals that he would locate individual figures, hit them and flee the scene.
After his arrest, the young man was brought in for questioning.
A hearing in his case will take place later today.
