The head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf, affirmed that the presence of foreign forces in the region does not achieve security, but rather is a source of threat and instability.
Qalibaf explained in a virtual forum held today at the National Defense University in Tehran that the American policy is working to create multiple tensions in the region in order to control it, pointing out that Iran has confirmed, in practice and with force, that it will not allow the American presence in the northern Gulf and has worked to achieve this.
Qalibaf pointed out the importance of cooperation between the countries of the region and standing side by side to end this American presence, which causes more tension and instability.
