Meng Zhaoda said that he had received a case for help, and his employees had to reduce their pay or take unpaid leave due to mandatory isolation.
For example, he pointed out that employees with monthly salaries have been asked by the company to take magnified leave and take unpaid leave after they have exhausted their holidays. As for casual workers who pay daily wages, they have to face "hands and mouths", and the company will look for them. Others take the position, but may not look for him again afterwards.

Meng Zhaoda said that during the SARS period, if the government requires mandatory isolation, he can be covered by paid sick leave. However, in February last year, the Labour Department updated its guidelines stating that the certificate cannot be treated as a sick leave certificate.
