Seine-Saint-Denis: a man hospitalized for death threats against a police station employee

A man was hospitalized in psychiatry after making death threats against an employee of the Saint-Denis police station, in Seine-Saint-Denis, and after the discovery of many weapons at his home, said Friday, June 4 the prosecutor's office of Bobigny and a police source.

Thursday, June 3 morning, the police from the Saint-Denis police station arrested the individual who suffers from psychological problems at his home, after repeated death threats and malicious phone calls to one of their colleagues.

The search allowed them to get their hands on two firearms with a caliber of 9mm (a rifle and an alarm pistol) with a hundred cartridges, but also many bladed weapons (knives, ax, katana, hammer ...).

The police also seized a false police card and the sum of 75,000 euros.

The custody of the person concerned was lifted very quickly because his discernment was completely abolished. He was the subject of compulsory hospitalization in psychiatry,

”said the Bobigny prosecutor's office. According to the police source, the suspect had lodged a complaint several times in recent months for damage to property, which allowed him to obtain professional telephone numbers from the police station on the reports.
