Lavrov also stressed that Russia will continue to actively contribute to the solution of international conflicts, referring in this regard to his country's efforts to resolve the conflict between the Palestinians and the Israelis, as well as in the Nagorno-Karabakh region between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the conflict in Afghanistan and Libya and in many other hot spots.

On the other hand, Lavrov stressed that sanctions and warnings are useless while talking with Russia, pointing out that Moscow's desire for dialogue should not be understood as weakness.
