Strike movements followed one another in May, first in the intensive care unit then among anesthetists, operating room nurses, laboratory technicians, or dieticians and pharmacy technicians.
Professions which have nevertheless benefited from the general increase of 183 euros net per month granted to employees of hospitals and nursing homes, both public and private.

many were waiting to be able to leave the hospital,

This new day of action therefore aims to remind the government that the sector's problems have not been resolved.

A shared initiative referendum project, called "
Our hospital is you
", is also on the verge of obtaining the support of 185 parliamentarians "
within one to two weeks
", assures Sophie Crozier, of the Collective Inter-Hospitals. If the process is then validated by the Constitutional Council, the collection of signatures could then last until the presidential election of 2022.
