A motorcyclist was seriously injured and survived an accident in Berg on Friday evening.
According to the police, it happened around 6 p.m .: A driver (71) overlooked the oncoming 27-year-old on his Kawasaki.

- The 71-year-old was driving his Mercedes on Perchastraße and wanted to turn left onto Grafstraße. He did not notice that the 27-year-old motorcyclist was coming towards him - there was a collision in the intersection area. The young man was seriously injured and brought to the Murnau Accident Clinic with suspected abdominal trauma. The elderly gentleman was unharmed. The front of the Mercedes was badly dented. The fender is also demolished. The police estimate the damage to the car at 10,000 euros. The motorcycle is likely to be a total write-off of around 8,000 euros.
The accident site was secured by helpers from the Berg Volunteer Fire Brigade while the accident was being recorded. They had to listen to criticism from some drivers, as stated on the fire brigade's Facebook page. "As is so often the case, our emergency services who were deployed at the closures reported a lot of incomprehension and need for discussion on the part of some road users," it says. “It's a shame and always makes you think.” The following was all the more gratifying: “A lady bought two emergency services without further ado a large pack of biscuits in the supermarket and gave it to them as a present.
