Tehran-Sana
The head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, announced that Iran will not hand over to the International Atomic Energy Agency data and camera recordings from inside some of Iran's nuclear sites because the agreement between the two sides in this regard has expired.
“After 3 months have passed, the temporary agreement with the agency has not been extended, and the CCTV recordings have not been delivered, and they are still in Iran’s possession,” Qalibaf said, stressing that the law of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly on the strategic initiative to lift the embargo is being strictly applied.
Qalibaf indicated that this law is still in effect and is being implemented by the Iranian government and relevant authorities.
Qalibaf had announced last May that the three-month monitoring agreement between his country and the International Atomic Energy Agency expired on the 22nd of the same month, stressing the Shura Council's determination to implement the details of the strategic initiative law to abolish the embargo and preserve the interests of the Iranian people.
