Aeromexico
Since Spain and France opened their borders to Mexicans who have the complete vaccination schedule, the airline with the Mexican flag has increased frequencies in the summer season to Europe, and specifically to Spain, with 90,000 new seats, which means 84% growth in capacity.
Since June 13, 10 weekly flights connect Madrid with Mexico City.
air France
Looking ahead to the summer, Air France plans to operate from 10 Spanish airports.
To do this, it adds new routes between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Paris-Charles de Gaulle (from July 5 and with two weekly frequencies) as well as between Ibiza and Paris-Orly (from June 28), complementing the route already existing between the Balearic island and Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
Since March 24, the company has been operating the route between Seville and Paris-CDG, inaugurated last summer and will reopen the routes from Alicante and Palma, in Mallorca, to Paris-CDG.
Finnair
Finnair, with a
hub
in Barcelona, will resume flights between Barcelona and Helsinki on August 16 with two weekly frequencies and that of Madrid with the capital of Finland, on September 2.
Currently, the Finnish company already operates to three destinations in Spain: Alicante, Malaga and Palma.
Iberia
The Spanish airline will operate three times a week during the months of July and August between Madrid and Malé, the capital of the Maldives, in direct flight.
This month, it has also reinforced its activity in the United States with new frequencies to Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, New York and Miami.
These last two - and during the three summer months - have a direct flight a day from Madrid.
As of July 2, the route to San Juan de Puerto Rico restarts with the intention of maintaining the frequency throughout the year.
KLM
KLM will operate this summer from eight Spanish airports: Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Ibiza, Madrid, Malaga, Palma and Valencia.
On June 26, the company inaugurates its new route between the Mallorcan capital and Amsterdam with two weekly frequencies and will have a daily flight from July 5.
In addition, the two new European routes to highlight for the summer with departures from Spain (via Amsterdam) are Dubrovnik and Belgrade.
Qatar Airways
The Qatari airline will add Zambia and Zimbabwe to its list of African destinations in early August.
Lusaka and Harare - their respective capitals - have thus become the new destinations for Qatar Airways since the start of the pandemic.
In total, the company will operate more than 100 weekly flights to 27 destinations on the African continent.
As of July 1, 2021, connectivity to Thailand is also resumed with four weekly flights to Phuket.
Ryanair
Ryanair has announced four new routes that will operate two weekly flights starting in October from Lanzarote, Madrid, Malaga and Seville to Turin.
These new connections join your current schedule to reinforce the 2021-2022 winter season.
Turkish airlines
The operations plan announced by the Turkish airline until July 31 includes 10 weekly flights in June and 14 in July from Madrid and Barcelona to Istanbul;
seven weekly flights from Malaga, and, from Valencia, seven in June and ten in July.
From its
hub
in the Turkish capital, it connects to more than 250 destinations around the world.
