The seriously ill traditional curator Max Lehmer, who is looked after at home, was missing for many in the general assembly of the Jagdhaus Maxlruh cultural association in the Faltermaier inn in Eicherloh.

Nevertheless, he was very present in the respectful speeches.

Eicherloh - The pandemic and Lehmer's illness were two severe "blows" for the cultural association, stressed the chairman and mayor of Finsingen, Max Kressirer.

With him, some board members referred to Lehmer's committed development work, especially in the field of folk music.

This appreciation culminated in the question of how one could continue his work “in the spirit of Max”, said Kressirer.

Lehmer had "worked passionately for the club" and it was difficult to find a replacement for him.

But they want to "preserve what Max has built".

The community chief therefore suggested hiring a trainer to support the singing group, the brass band and the string music, which Max Lehmer had set up.

The cultural association has a maximum budget of 2400 euros available for this every year.

The club could afford it financially.

“Would you support the proposal?” The chairman asked the group.

The assembly voted unanimously in favor of the employment of a trainer.

Kulturverein Jagdhaus Maxlruh: Events should be rescheduled

Even if the pandemic brought the cultural association, like many other associations, into a forced break, plans continued to be forged.

Whether excursions, readings, activities for children, archive projects, cultural trips or open airs in the park - all these events should be reorganized if Corona allows it.

This was also confirmed by the cultural advisor Marianne Lehmer with a view to unusual readings that they wanted to catch up on.

There is even a fixed date for the open air, July 8, 2022. Tickets that have already been purchased for the failed open air event remain valid.

The association celebrated the 15 year anniversary of the renovation of the Maxlruh hunting lodge.

This milestone allowed Kressirer to look ahead to the club's 20th anniversary in 2025.

Reserves are to be created for the maintenance and necessary renovation work of the hunting lodge.

Last but not least, at the club's round birthday it should "appear as shiny as we imagine it", says Kressirer.

Kulturverein Jagdhaus Maxlruh: Archive in the attic is completed

Thank you very much for the founder and board member Antonia Janz, who for 15 years was responsible for the reception of champagne at weddings in the Jagdhaus.

The two chairmen, Kressirer and Otto Isemann, presented the honoree with a bouquet of flowers.

There were also words of thanks for all supporters of the cultural association.

At the meeting, information was also given about the completion of the archive on the top floor and the change of tenant on the ground floor.

Here a real estate company follows a private music school.

Since the fountain in front of the hunting lodge is an attraction for children, Vice-Chairman Isemann appealed to the parents to exercise their duty of supervision.
