Today, Iraqi police arrested a terrorist who detonated a car bomb in Sadr City, east of the capital, Baghdad, in mid-April, killing dozens.
And Alsumaria News quoted the Security Media Cell as saying in a statement that “through a qualitative operation characterized by the use of intelligence and human effort represented by continuous monitoring, it was able to arrest the terrorist who carried out a car bombing operation in the Al-Habibiya area near one of the popular markets known as Al-Atiq market in Sadr City, east of Baghdad.” In mid-April, a number of civilians were killed.
The Iraqi forces continue to pursue the remnants of “ISIS” terrorists in different regions of Iraq, as yesterday launched a large-scale security operation to pursue the remnants of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in Salah al-Din Governorate in the center of the country.
