The Ministry of Health has approved vaccinating Corona ages 5 to 11 who are at risk

The Ministry of Health informed the health funds and hospitals today (Tuesday) that children aged 11-5 can also be vaccinated in exceptional cases, where there is a high probability of serious illness and even mortality due to infection with the Delta strain.
The new directive will take effect on August 21st.
The document submitted to the HMOs documented the situations in which the vaccine could be considered, including severe immunosuppression, severe obesity, severe chronic lung disease, active malignancy, heart failure or pulmonary hypertension, and sickle cell anemia.
The ministry instructed the health funds to conduct active monitoring of the side effects that will appear in the vicinity of receiving the vaccine, "in light of the paucity of data regarding the vaccine of the age group 11-5 years."
In addition, according to data obtained from Pfizer, the dose of the vaccine for this age group is 1.0 ml instead of 3.0 ml for adults.
