Nine students of the Fine Arts Center of the Arab Cultural Center in Shahba, Sweida, participated this evening in an art exhibition that included about 50 works, mostly in oil colours.
The exhibition, which lasts for a week, deals with different and varied topics of living and silent nature, portraits, human and heritage cases, and others.
In a statement to Sana Cultural, the official of the Plastic Arts Center at Thaqafi Shahba, “Ilham Jazan,” indicated that the exhibition carries creative aspects, in which the center’s students expressed the feeling inside them through their multiple paintings with themes and rich colors.
The school at the Center for Fine Arts in the Culture of Shahba “Dima Abu Karam” stated that the exhibition is the culmination of more than a year of training for the students, as each of them presented an aesthetic form of the artwork as he saw it with a high feeling reflected in the eye of the connoisseur of the viewer.
Through her participation in six paintings, the Minister of Al-Aws indicated that she tried to diversify between nature, childhood, old age and local heritage, with the use of multiple colors as a matter of experimentation.
Hanan Nassif stated that the exhibition is her second and first experience with oil colors, in which she presented things that express life and its aesthetic character.
In her three submitted works, Huda Al-Taweel tried to combine more than one school and introduce collage to work, while raising issues related to women's freedom, hope and nature.
The visitor to the exhibition, Kamal Danon, considered that it constitutes a creative outlet with other activities held, with efforts to complete the paintings despite the varying levels of participants.
