Positive results from the “Klosterackerweg” citizens' dialogue: 130 citizens took part

In the digital citizen dialogue, 130 citizens were able to share their wishes and suggestions for the construction of the new residential area.

Regensburg - Due to the increasing demand for living space in Regensburg *, the city is planning a new residential area on the site of the former DB school.

At the citizens 'dialogue, basic information for the architects' competition was presented.

In five thematic “digital small groups”, the participants were able to bring in their wishes, suggestions, but also criticism and concerns.

Experts from the various subject areas supervised the group. 

More than 50 suggestions from the participants emerged from the digital event, which can now be found in the citizens' protocol at www.regensburg.de/klosterackerweg.

In addition, the protocol should be included in the implementation competition as an attachment to the text of the competition.

On this basis, the participating architectural offices should develop solutions for the new residential development.

They have until the beginning of 2022 for the results.
