They were on their way to support the helpers on site: The Johanniter Allershausen set off for the crisis area.
Allershausen
- The wave of willingness to help the flood victims in western Germany continues in the Freising district.
After THW, Navis and BRK, the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe from Allershausen has now also sent a troop to Rhineland-Palatinate: On Thursday, the Johanniter packed the necessary material, and on Friday morning seven helpers from the Rapid Response Group (SEG) took care of themselves on the way.
“Due to the large number of deployment sites after the storm in Rhineland-Palatinate, the local forces are currently still insufficient to cope with the situation.
Because the situation was still tense, additional strengths were requested, ”says the Johanniter site representative Heinrich Märkl.
So the emergency services met on Friday at 5 a.m. at the police station in Allershausen and drove to Greding, where they joined the Upper Bavaria support contingent.
The convoy then went to the Nürburgring.
On site, the team replaced the Middle Franconia aid contingent, and yesterday, Monday evening, the team set off again in the direction of Allershausen.
The SEG took care of the on-site support for the emergency services.
The local association Allershausen der Johanniter is the largest in the regional association of Upper Bavaria and has four rapid response groups.
After the call, the SEG was staffed within a very short time.
On departure, Märkl thanked the volunteers for their commitment and wished them every success and, above all, a healthy return.
