Tading - The parish association Maria Tading celebrates the patronage of the parish and pilgrimage church in Tading at the weekend. On Friday, August 13th, at 6 p.m. there will be a prayer for children in the Tadinger Church, musically performed by the children's choirs Buch and Maria Tading. Church musician Regina Maier, who is responsible for the overall musical direction of the festival weekend, has rehearsed Marian songs and new sacred songs with the children.

On Saturday, August 14th, at 5.30 p.m., the first festive church service for the patronage with the association delegations will take place on the church square in Tading, musically performed by the Maria Tading church choir with the canon mass by Lorenz Maierhofer and the Tadinger winds. The festive service on Sunday, August 15, at 10 a.m. in the Tadinger Church can also be seen in the live stream on www.kirch-dahoam.de.

The Tadinger Ensemble with the soloists Christine Pfanzelt (soprano), Benedikta Unangst (alto), Werner Dittrich (tenor), Konstantin Riedl (bass) and a small orchestra consisting of Hildegund Ettelt (violin), Charlotte Seßler (violin) are responsible for the musical design. , Frank Uttenreuther (trumpet), Hans Jürgen Huber (trumpet) and Regina Maier (organ and overall direction).

The organ solo mass by Wolfgang A. Mozart will be performed.

At the end there will be a devotion to the Virgin Mary with the church choir Forstern-Tading and songs of the Virgin Mary by Hans Berger from 8 p.m.

In addition, the parish council and pastoral care team in the parishes of Buch, Forstern-Tading and Pastetten are once again creating a “path rosary”. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., five stations with scenes from the life of Mary are set up in each of the three parishes. Pictures, symbols and texts invite you to linger and pray.

The stations are in Buch in front of the parish hall, in front of the kindergarten, at the church car park, in the church and at the cross on the edge of the forest;

in Forstern at the St. Korbinian kindergarten, in front of the Forstern church, at the wayside cross (Oberer Anger) to Tading, at the cross in front of the Tadinger church and in the church in Tading;

in pastettes in front of the town hall, in front of the rectory, at the Lourdes chapel, at the Kümmerniskapelle and at the farm cheese dairy (Raiffeisenstraße).

It is an old tradition that blessed herbal bouquets are again offered for donations at church services in Tading, but also in the other parishes of the parish association.

The shooting club Edelweiß Tading will once again provide food and drink on the “Frauadog weekend”. On Saturday from 6.30 p.m. there is Bavarian bread roll (stuffed pork belly) with sauce and coleslaw, on Sunday at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. fish on a stick, half a chicken, bread roll as well as large pretzels and cakes, everything to take away. If the weather or the corona situation permit, food and drinks can be enjoyed on site in the Schützen-Garten.
