The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission confirmed that the female prisoners suffer difficult conditions as a result of the arbitrary practices of the Israeli occupation against them.
In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the commission stated that the 39 female prisoners are subjected to the most horrific forms of torture in the occupation prisons, foremost of which is deliberate medical negligence. The bones and the steadfastness of Abu Zaher complain about blood problems, and the captive Nahar Hajja, who was arrested by the occupation forces while she was pregnant, suffers from pregnancy complications, emaciation and general weakness in the body.
About 5,300 Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 550 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
