The IDF dropped a skimmer of the Hamas terrorist organization on the Gaza Strip border, an IDF spokesman announced today (Friday).
Troops on Wednesday identified the skimmer, which crossed the Gaza Strip - and shot it down.
He was monitored throughout the incident and was located earlier today.
The IDF will continue to act to prevent any violation of the sovereignty of the State of Israel.

IDF forces shot down a Hezbollah terrorist skimmer after it crossed the border into Israel from Lebanon. According to an IDF spokesman, the skimmer was monitored by the forces throughout the incident.

The incident occurred about a week after Hezbollah fired more than 10 rockets at Israeli territory. No damage was done and there were no casualties. An IDF spokesman said at the time that most of the rockets were intercepted by IAF fighters.
