The Vice-President of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council in Lebanon, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, condemned the Israeli aggression on the vicinity of the cities of Damascus and Homs, calling on the United Nations to take deterrent measures against the Zionist enemy.
Al-Khatib stressed in a statement today that what happened yesterday evening is a violation of Lebanese sovereignty and a double aggression against the two countries, which threatened the safety of civil aviation in Lebanon and regional security after a series of repeated attacks and violations, calling on the United Nations to take deterrent measures against the Zionist enemy and not be satisfied with statements of condemnation and denunciation and recording the numbers of violations of international resolution 1701, which threatens its effects.
Al-Khatib pointed out that this dangerous aggression identifies with the siege and unilateral coercive economic measures aimed at starving the Syrian and Lebanese peoples, stressing that the best response to these measures lies in strengthening solidarity and cooperation, raising the level of coordination between the two brotherly countries, and adhering to resistance as a guarantor option to deter aggression and defend sovereignty.
In turn, the Committee of Friends of the Dean of Detainees in the Israeli Occupation Prisons, Yahya Skaf, condemned the Israeli aggression on Syria from Lebanese territory.
The committee said in a statement today: that Syria is protected by its valiant army, which stood for more than ten years in the face of the global war through which the US administration and its allies in the region, led by the Zionist entity, tried to defeat it in the field, but the Syrian Arab Army and its allies achieved victories and defeated all the tools of the project. The United States invaded Syria and liberated most of its lands from criminal terrorist organizations.
For his part, the head of the National Center in the north of Lebanon, Kamal al-Khair, condemned the Zionist aggression against Syria from Lebanese territory, stressing that it constitutes a clear violation of international laws.
Al-Khair said in a statement: “The attack on Syria from above Lebanon must stop at all costs, because what is happening harms Lebanon as a state and entity,” pointing out that Syria is the only lung from which Lebanon breathes, and the attack on Syrian territory from Lebanon cannot go unnoticed. .
Yesterday evening, the air defense media of the Syrian Arab Army confronted an Israeli aggression with missiles from the direction southeast of Beirut, targeting some points in the vicinity of the cities of Damascus and Homs.
