Al-Jalaa, Al-Wathba, Al-Wahda and Qasioun clubs qualified for the quarter-finals of the Basketball League Championship for the juniors category after occupying the first four places in a row at the end of the first group competitions, which were held on the grounds of the Martyr Nasih Alwani Sports Hall in Hama.
Al-Jalaa topped the group after defeating all its teams, followed by Al-Wathba in second place with three wins against one loss, then Al-Wahda third and Qasioun fourth, while Al-Nawa’ir ranked last and bid farewell to the championship early.
Today, the quarter-finals of the league championship will be held at the Hama gymnasium, which brings together the qualified clubs from the first group with the clubs of the second group, where Al-Galaa plays with Freedom, Unity with Al-Ittihad, Al-Karama with Qasioun and Al-Wathba with Al-Jaish, and the winner of each match qualifies for the semi-finals.
Al-Karama Club had won first place in the second group competitions, whose matches were held in the city of Homs, followed by Al-Ittihad second, Al-Jaish third, and Al-Hurriya fourth.
